Our History

Constructed as a private residence around 1890, it was founded as a funeral home 58 years later, in 1948, by Robert Pichi. Mr. Pichi’s business partner was Paul Mallon. Later, Mr. Mallon and Harry Metzler operated the funeral home. In 1973, Mr. Meltzer sold the funeral home to Henry Scala who operated it for 43 years prior to selling to the current owners the Maguire Family in 2016. 

Denise Maguire is a licensed funeral director and the Manager of Maguire Memorial Home. Since the Maguire's have purchased the home, they have completed many restorations to the building and grounds making this Victorian home beautiful inside and out.

The Maguire Memorial Home & Cremation Services provides traditional funerals with viewings and religious services for every faith, as well as cremation services with or without viewings.
