Thomas M Burkhardt

Thomas M. Burkhardt, 71, of Hopatcong, NJ passed away peacefully on November 8, 2023 at his home.

Thomas was born on August 6, 1952 in Pt. Pleasant, NJ to the late Thomas and Marcella Burkhardt.

Previously residing in Irvington, NJ Thomas moved to Hopatcong 30 years ago. He married the love of his life Helen Pausik in 1990. They celebrated 17 years of marriage prior to her passing in 2007. He was employed at S. Cerbo & Sons Lumber prior to his retirement. Thomas was a talented artist. He enjoyed painting and drawing. He also was a musician; he enjoyed writing songs and loved to play the piano, organ and guitar. He will be sadly missed.

Thomas is survived by his loving sister, Karen Burkhardt, his caring niece Ashley Fields and his dear friend Jesse Otero. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Helen and his brothers Paul and Neil Burkhardt.
