Theresa Poremba

Theresa Ann Poremba, 79, of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2024 at the Karen Ann Quinlan Home for Hospice in Fredon, NJ

Theresa was born on March 23, 1945 in Pittston, PA to the late Samuel & Mary Cherone.

She previously resided in Michigan and Flanders, NJ prior to moving to Murrells Inlet, SC. Theresa married the love of her life John Poremba in 1966. Together they celebrated 57 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2023. She was employed as an Appliance Sales Associate for Sears Roebuck, retiring in 2011. Theresa enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and cleaning. Above all she loved her family and spending time with them. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her loving children, John Poremba, Marisa Falgiano and her husband Sabatino Jr. and Diana Poremba, her 3 Amazing Grandsons; Tyler, Sabatino III and Antonio, her sibling; Marty Cherone and many loved Nieces & Nephews and many friends that were always “family” in her heart.

Theresa is preceded in death by her siblings; Joseph Cherone, Sam Cherone, Louis Cherone, Albert Cherone, Florence Keen, Josephine Severnak, Rose Greeley and Mary Cherone

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Murrells Inlet, SC
