Theresa Frances Bailie

Theresa F. Bailie, 61, of Washington, NJ passed away unexpectedly at home on February 11, 2020.
Theresa was born on October 19, 1958 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Thomas and Patricia Quigley.
Theresa was a graduate from Parsippany Hills High School. She then worked for Villa Madonna as a nurse's aid for many years. She enjoyed watching HGTV and always made sure she was caught up on The Walking Dead.
Theresa also liked puzzles and crosswords in her spare time. Theresa also enjoyed the many times she would get together with her family for their much anticipated game nights.
Theresa is survived by her loving daughter Jackie Bailie of Hackettstown, NJ and her grandson Michael Garity of Little Egg Harbor, NJ. She is also survived by her siblings; Thomas Quigley of Lewistown, NY, Mary Harden of Hackettstown, NJ, Ann Sowers of PA, Cecilia Boyle of Point Pleasant, NJ, Margaret Bressette of Bethlehem, PA, Maureen Farrell of Easton, PA, Patricia Hoffman of Nazareth, PA, Joan Kearney of Washington, NJ, and Christine Harris of Sparta, NJ. Theresa also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews, and her long time companion, Charles Amster of Washington, NJ.
In Addition to her parents, Theresa is predeceased by her daughter, Heather Lord, who passed away in 1997.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Theresa's name to The New Jersey State Organization of Cystic Fibrosis, 137 Union Blvd. Totowa, NJ 07512.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday February 18, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Maguire- Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Wednesday February 19, 2020 at 10:30 AM at the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 302 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. Burial will immediately follow at Pequest Union Cemetery, Great Meadows, NJ.
