Terry L Hanson

Terry L. Hanson, 76, of Hackettstown, New Jersey passed away peacefully on April 29, 2022 at Hackettstown Medical Center with his loving family by his side.
Terry was born on February 7, 1946 in Stamford, Connecticut to the late Earl and Rose Hanson.
Terry proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He married the love of his life Linda (née; Doran) in 1970. They resided in Randolph, NJ prior to moving to Hackettstown in 1976. Together, they raised 3 children and celebrated 38 years of marriage prior to Linda's passing in 2008. Terry was employed as a truck driver and a member of the Teamsters Union. He retired at the age of 64 in 2010. Terry enjoyed playing cards and had a passion for antique cars. He loved going to car shows. He was an avid NFL fan, always rooting for the Raiders.
He will be greatly missed by all of his family, friends, and his companion, Maryann Fornaro.
Terry is survived by his loving children; Tom and his wife Erica, Tim and his wife Mary, Melanie Cabelo and her husband Rich and his grandchildren; Aidan, Nicholas, Thomas, Dean, Alyssa, Brandon, Reid; and his brother Robert Hanson. In addition to his parents, Earl and Rose Hanson he is preceded in death by his devoted wife Linda.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday, May 2, 2022 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the Maguire-Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
