Stella H Ryan

Stella H. Ryan, 88, of Allentown, PA (formally of Hackettstown, NJ) passed away peacefully on March 1, 2019 at Above and Beyond Care Center in Allentown, PA
Stella was born on July 18, 1930 in Newton, NJ to the late Stanley and Anna Shimanski.
She was a graduate of Hackettstown High School. Stella was married in 1950, the love of her life Gerald Thomas Ryan who passed in 1972. She was employed as a shoe salesperson but mainly considered herself a homemaker. Stella was of the Catholic faith and a past parishioner of the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Hackettstown where she volunteered for many years.
She is survived by her loving children, 2 daughters, Maryanne Wilmouth and her husband William III and Christine Hansler. 1 son Thomas Gerald Ryan, and his wife Marty, grandchildren Tony, Jennifer, Jessica, Kelly Marie, Jacqueline, Frank Jr., Morgan and James Jr. She has also been blessed with many great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by a grandson, Daniel Joseph Giordano.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 6-8:00 PM at the Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840 Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow service at Union Cemetery in Hackettstown, NJ
