Stella Frances Lencewicz

Stella Frances Lencewicz, 100 of Great Meadows, NJ passed away peacefully on August 3, 2020 at Warren Haven Nursing home in Mansfield, NJ.
Stella was born on May 28, 1920 in Newark, NJ to the late Leon and Victoria Penkol.
She was raised and worked on the family farm. Stella and Walter Lencewicz Sr. together celebrated 64 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2005. Stella was of the catholic faith and a parishioner of Ss. Peter and Paul Church in Great Meadows. She enjoyed reading, puzzles and country music especially yodeling. In her younger years she liked to crochet and embroidering. She always looked forward to her trips to Lancaster and antique searching with her daughter. Above all she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her loving children, Joanne Wright and Arthur Lencewicz and daughter-in-law Mary Lencewicz. In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by her sons Walter Lencewicz Jr. and Richard Allen and her son-in-law Eugene Wright.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday, August 6, 2020 from 9-10:00 AM at the Maguire-Scala Memorial Home; 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840 A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at 10:30 at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 360 Route 46, Great Meadows, NJ 07838 Burial will follow Mass at Pequest Union Cemetery in Great Meadows.
