Stanley Brajer Sr.

Stanley Brajer Sr. 90, of Independence Township, NJ passed away peacefully at home.
Stanley was born on May 10, 1930, in Lodi, NJ, to the late John and Angelina Brajer.
Stanley was a graduate of Teaneck High School, where he was a State Champion Wrestler. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Stanley married the love of his life Edith (nee; Brasile), in 1953. During his career, he worked as an engineer for Ellcon National, Inc. and assisted in installing the first glass windows on the NYC subway train system. Stanley retired in 1994.
He and his wife Edith resided in Rockaway, NJ for 35 years where they raised their children. He enjoyed traveling and lived in Las Vegas and California. Stanley was an avid bowler, golfer and appreciated a good day at the racetrack. Stanley continuously sought the thrill of yelling, "BINGO" with Edith and their friends, while they supported different churches and organizations throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He was no stranger to cracking jokes over a homemade Italian pasta dish. Stanley was a premiere story-teller, paying attention to every detail and never missing a beat. Above all, Stanley adored his family and treasured the time they spent together. His presence, laughter and gentle spirit are greatly missed.
Stanley is survived by his devoted wife of 67 years, Edith, two loving sons, Stanley Brajer Jr. and his wife Linda and Michael Brajer and his daughter-in-law Deirdre. Five cherished grandchildren, Michael Mario and his wife, Christina Lyn, Lauren Elizabeth, Stanley Charles, Mark Angelo and Nicole Marie, and his sister, Diane Nicol. In addition to his parents, Stanley is preceded in death by his brother Victor Brajer.
