Shawn Marie Bodden

Shawn Marie Bodden, 51, of Blairstown, NJ (formally of Hackettstown) passed away on June 7, 2025 at Hackettstown Medical Center.

Shawn was born on May 8, 1974 in Dover, NJ to Timothy and Karen Pruden

She was a graduate of Hackettstown High School. Shawn went on to further her education at Dover Business School. She was employed as an Office Manager for the past 6 years at America First Transport. She enjoyed baseball, gymnastics and cheerleading in her younger years. She was a child model and won 2nd place in one of the competitions she entered. She was a soccer fan, particularly Inter Miami, her favorite player being Lionel Messi. Above all she loved her family. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her loving husband, Rex Bodden, her cherished children; Caitlin Pruden, Gia Bodden and Abby Bodden. She also leaves behind her grandchildren; Madison Smiley and Mila Gaertner, her parents Timothy and Karen Pruden, brother Scott Pruden and his wife Stacey, sisters; Sherri Keyes and Valerie Pruden, grandmother Lillian Pruden, mother-in-law Josefa Alvarado and brothers-in-law; Dennis Navarro and Rick Bodden.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Maguire Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. Funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 1:00 PM in the funeral home. Burial will take place at Stanhope Union Cemetery in Mount Olive, NJ
