Rudolf Oeckinghaus

Rudolf Oeckinghaus Jr. 86, Of Mount Olive Township, NJ formerly of Chatham, NJ passed away peacefully on January 16, 2021 at Paragon Village assisted living in Mount Olive. Rudolf was born on September 25, 1934 in Mettmann, Germany to the late Rudolf and Luise Oeckinghaus. He was an owner of Robinson Microlit Laboratories, Inc. prior to his retirement in 2009. Rudolf was of the Lutheran faith. In his younger years he enjoyed hiking and photography. He had a passion for trains and Lego's. His Lego creations were truly works of art.
He is survived by his loving sons; Harald, Mark and Peter. His adored grandchildren, Krista, Erik, Ryan, Jason and Cassandra.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, William and Horst Oeckinghaus In abiding with his wishes all services will be private. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Maguire-Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840, (908)852-2420
