Rose Frances Grabinski, 98, of Hackettstown, NJ passed away peacefully on January 18, 2024 at home.
She was a lifelong resident of Independence Township for 71 years.
Rose was born on February 6, 1925 in Independence Township, New Jersey to the late John and Agnes Ramowitch. She married the love of her life Anthony Vincent Grabinski in 1950. She was a member of the Independence Fire Department and Woman’s Auxiliary. Rose was an expert seamstress. She handmade beautiful wedding gowns and dresses. She enjoyed taking care of half acre vegetable garden. She also enjoyed taking care of her flower gardens. She was an active member of Saint Nicholas Ukranian Cathlolic Church where she could always be found making the dough on their pierogi making days. She will be greatly missed.
Rose is survived by her devoted husband, Anthony of 74 years. Her loving children; daughters, Joan
Woll and her husband Eric, Patricia Ruppel, and son, James and his wife Laurie. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren Krysta Johnson and her husband Larry, Kyle Woll and his wife Alexandra, Alyssa and her partner Cody Rexrode, Aaron and his wife Morgan. Rose also left behind her beloved great grandchildren; Colin, Rose, Kenna, Finnley, and Magnolia. She is preceded in death by her son-in-law Edward Ruppel.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 4 PM to 7 PM at Maguire-Scala Memorial, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07863. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Saint Nicholas Ukranian Catholic Church, 335 US-46 Great Meadows, NJ 07838.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Rose’s name to Saint Nicholas Ukranian Catholic Church.
