Regina J (Fox) Lash of Woodstock died peacefully Sunday February 19, 2017 while laughing at America's Funniest Home Videos. Born on Valentine's Day, 1930 in the coal mining town of Dunlo, PA shortly after the death of her father, James Fox, she grew up in Dunlo before moving to East Hartford, CT. Regina graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in English, and then taught English and History in Windsor, CT before getting married and relocating to Woodstock in 1962. Regina was predeceased by her mother Elizabeth ("Gram") (Carroff) Fox, her husband of 40 years Stanley F Lash, her brothers Raymond and John Fox and her sister Mary Grace Hunter. Regina is survived by her children John and Cynthia, their spouses Cathy and Kevin, and her grandchildren Christian, Meghan, Laura, John Jr., Meredith and Elyse, and several nieces and nephews who affectionately knew her as "Aunt Jeb." A family celebration of Regina's life will be held this summer in Connecticut.
