Paul B Miele

Paul B. Miele, 74, of Newton, NJ passed peacefully on February 9, 2024 surrounded by loved ones.

Paul was born on October 17, 1949 in Glen Ridge, NJ to the late Louis and Eve (nee; Giordano) Miele.

Paul graduated from Memorial High School in Cedar Grove, NJ Class of 1967. He excelled as a baseball pitcher and a skilled pool player. He successfully went on to become a court stenographer prior to many years struggling with mental health issues. Paul will be remembered for his sense of humor, generous spirit, compassionate heart and his love of animals, gardening and 1970’s rock music. Throughout his life he was an avid weather enthusiast. He was much beloved by his family and many caregivers.

Paul is survived by his brother Louis Miele and his wife Margaret Miele, his sister Janice Hemberger and her husband Bill, nephews Daniel Hemberger and his wife Melinda, Michael and his wife Jamie Hemberger, David Miele and his wife Ji Lee and niece Justine DeSimone and her husband Daniel. In addition, Paul had 8 great nephews and 2 great nieces, many cousins and his dear Uncle Robert Giordano. He will be greatly missed.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 2-4 PM at Maguire Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840

Burial will be held privately at Pequest Union Cemetery in Great Meadows, NJ
