Paul Deyong Sr.

Paul DeYong Sr. of Chester, NJ passed away unexpectedly at his home on August 22, 2019.
Paul was born on December 9, 1946 in Stroudsburg, PA to the late David and Annie DeYong
Paul proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He was employed as a contractor until his retirement in 2013. He was of the Presbyterian faith. He loved the outdoors enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger years. Paul was an avid golfer.
Paul is survived by his children, 2 sons, Paul DeYong Jr. and his wife Jennifer; Gerrit John DeYong and his wife Donna and a daughter, Melissa Ann DeYong. 4 grandchildren, Jake Paul DeYong, Samuel Trace DeYong, Julia Helen DeYong and Gerrit John DeYong Jr. He also leaves behind his siblings, Dave, Pete, Marion(Mickey), Linda, Lorraine and Pam. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by siblings, Art, Ray, Gertrude(Gert) and Gerrit.
In abiding with the family's wishes, all services will be private.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Maguire-Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840.
