Patricia Ruth Robinson

Patricia Ruth Martin Robinson, 86, of Hackettstown, NJ passed away on March 26, 2022 at the Morristown Post Acute Center.
Patricia was born on March 3, 1936 in Atlanta, Texas. She resided in West Virginia until she was 18 years of age. She moved to NJ and married Richard R. Robinson and together raised 2 children. Patricia went on to further her education and earned her B.A in 1958 from Alderson-Broadus University in 1958. She then earned her Master's Degree from Farleigh Dickenson University in 1965. Patricia was employed as a teacher in Wharton and Rockaway Boro for 32 years prior to her retirement. As a teacher, she and her husband Richard who also was a teacher enjoyed traveling during their summer breaks. Among their many travels, they visited all of the European Countries. Patricia also was an avid reader and loved all forms of music. She was an outstanding cook. Above all she loved her family; she will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 65 years Richard Robinson, her cherished children, son Gary R. Robinson and daughter, Cindy J. Robinson and her faithful companion, her dog Holly.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 from 1-5 PM at the Maguire-Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840 A Funeral service celebrating Patricia's life will immediately follow the visitation at 5:00 PM in the funeral home.
