Patricia Linn

Patricia Linn, 60, of Blairstown, NJ, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2019 with her family by her side.
Patricia was born on November 27, 1958 in Riverhead, NY. Pat was a military "brat" and, while growing up, she lived in many different places all over the world. She was a graduate of Camelback High School in Phoenix, AZ and attended the County College of Morris in Randolph, NJ where she received an associate's degree. Patricia worked as a bookkeeper for Jim McArdle Excavating and D&J Truck & RV Repair. She was a career banker at Skylands Community Bank prior to having her children. Her passions included her love for animals, especially dogs, love of flowers, gardening and cooking. Along with a devoted humanitarian spirit, Patricia was a Seeing Eye puppy raiser, an avid gardener and cook. She was known for her amazing cherry and apple pies, always baking two at a time, and for her pork schnitzel. Patricia was a member of the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church in Hackettstown where she volunteered both at church and St. Mary's School. She loved country music and was a true fan of Kenny Chesney. But what was the most important to Patricia was her devout faith in God and the love she had for her family.
Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Kevin Linn. She is also survived by her son, James Kevin and her daughter, Mary-Kate. Patricia leaves behind her two brothers, Robert O'Donnell from Florida and Jeffrey O'Donnell and his wife Linda from Washington State; her brother-in-laws: Jeffrey Linn and his wife Lisa, Matthew and his wife Lauri, Brian and his wife Eileen, Steven and his wife Barbara, and Mark; sister-in-laws: Debra Jenson and her husband George, and Kristen Reilly, Rita Maultsby and her husband Hubert, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Patricia is predeceased by her sister-in-law, Chris and brother-in-law, Michael.
Visitation for family and friends is Wednesday, July 31, 2019 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at Maguire-Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at 10:30AM at the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Hackettstown, 302 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840
