Michael Edward Zack

Michael Edward Zack, 65, of Washington, NJ passed away peacefully on November 1, 2022 at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ.

Michael was born on September 15, 1957 in Patterson, NJ to the late John and Mabel Zack.

Michael attended Manchester Regional High School in Prospect Park. He married the love of his life Nancy (nee; Kilhaney) in 1986. He was a talented musician playing in numerous bands and was also a music teacher. Aside from his passion for music, Michael loved the outdoors, he enjoyed fishing and fly-tying. Michael was an avid reader, always searching for knowledge. He also could be found whittling and tending to bonsai trees. Above all of his passions and interests, he loved his family and treasured every moment spent with them.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 36 years Nancy Zack, his loving children, Corey, Kyle, Kaitlynn and Colton Zack, his grandchild, Kylah Zack and his sisters Mari Lu Zack Krawiec and Jaye Ann Zack Staudinger. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, John Jaeger and Paul Zack.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday, November 6, 2022 from 12-3:30 PM at the Maguire-Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. Service celebrating Michael’s life will immediately follow the visitation at 3:30 in the funeral home.
