Michael Stefiniw

Michael Stefiniw, 71, of Budd Lake, NJ (formerly of Arlington, VA)passed away peacefully on July 2, 2026 in Morristown, NJ

Michael was born on August 23, 1954 in Clifton, NJ to the late Andrij Stefiniw and Anna (nee; Anusrkanych) Stefiniw.

Michael proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for twelve years. He earned his Master's degree in electrical engineering. Upon leaving the military he went on to work for the Department of Defense until his retirement in 2024. Michael truly loved his job and those he worked with. When not working he could often be found fixing and tinkering items. He was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed running and distance walking.

Michael is survived by his loving brother, Paul Stefiniw and his wife Rosemary, his caring nephews, Nicholas Stefiniw and his wife Brianna and Alexander Stefiniw.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 2-6 PM at Maguire Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840 Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Burial will take place at Pequest Union Cemetery in Great Meadows, NJ.
