Michael Oh Schuberth

July 1, 1949 — January 18, 2022

Michael O H Schuberth, 72, of Mount Olive, NJ passed away peacefully on January 18, 2022, at Hackettstown Medical Center. Michael was born on July 1, 1949, in Gera, Germany to the late William and Erika Schuberth.
During his early years he worked at Clifton Book Bindery in Clifton NJ as an apprentice for his father William Schuberth and continued well after graduating from Boonton High School. His dedicated service to the family company was interrupted when he was drafted to serve his country during the war in Vietnam. He revived his serve to the family company upon his honorable discharge from the military in 1970. In 1982, the family company was sold to L.P. Thebault Printing, located in Parsippany, where Michael held a management position for several decades.
After living in Succasunna, NJ for some time he eventually resided in Mount Olive NJ surrounded by his children and grandchildren. During his time in Mount Olive, he worked for Roxbury High School as a bus driver for 10 years and enjoyed every moment of it. While also being a bus driver he worked at Mount Olive High School as a custodian part-time when he was not driving a bus.
Although he never officially retired he did enjoy his current status of being employed. Even though he worked two jobs he was also an outdoor enthusiast and loved to spend time with his family in his free time. He recalls that his proudest and most enjoyable accomplishments were his children and his grandchildren as they were his world. Every time Michael walked into a room you always saw a smile on his face followed by big happy hello. His presence that he emitted was so impactful and always left you feeling special and loved every time you talked to him. Although Michael may be gone his presence will remain with us for eternity as will the memories.
Michael is survived by his loving children, Deana Reda and her husband John of Mount Olive NJ, Michael Schuberth of Mount Olive NJ, Danielle Menendez and her husband Paul of Hopatcong NJ, and Matthew Schuberth of Phoenix AZ, along with his adored Grandchildren Giavanna, Nicholas, Gavin, Mia, Aiden and Jonah, and his Sister Marina Stead and her husband Thomas with their daughter Kira Stead his niece.
