Michael Manfra

Michael Wayne Manfra, 78, of Perkasie, PA (formerly of Washington, NJ) passed away peacefully on January 18, 2026 at home with his loving family by his side.

Michael was born on January 11, 1948 in Califon, NJ to the late Peph and Carlene Manfra.

He was a graduate of Hackettstown High School. After High School, he proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was employed as a Supervisor at Borealis Compounds, Inc in Port Murray, NJ for 46 years, from 1970 - 2016 prior to his retirement in 2016. Michael enjoyed deep sea fishing, going to the beach, and tending to his flower beds. He was an avid Phillies and Dallas Cowboys fan. He loved to take trips to the casino and driving his Vet. Above all he loved his family. He will be greatly missed.

Michael is survived by his loving children; daughter, Tammy Cathers and her husband Jim, son Michael Manfra and his wife Barbara, grandchildren; Cody and his wife Megan, James, Meadow, Danielle, Nicole, Cheyanne and Landon, great-grandchildren; Norah and Lylah. He also leaves behind a sister Betty Ann Stevens, niece Dolores Stevens and her children Ian and Brooklynn, and a brother Howard Manfra, his wife Jean and their daughter Toni Manfra and niece michelle Kuchinski and his long time friend David Parker. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Janice Hunter and a granddaughter, Virginia Manfra.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 2-4 PM at the Maguire Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. A Memorial service with Military Honors will be held immediately following the visitation in the funeral home at 4 PM.
