Mary L. Wilson, 89, of Hackettstown, NJ passed away on January 16, 2025 at home.
Mary was born on May 1, 1935 in Denville, NJ to the late Joseph and Louise Emery.
She was a graduate of Butler High School, Class of 1952.
Mary was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Hackettstown where she volunteered at the food pantry. Mary started the fresh produce availability at the food pantry. She would make frequent trips to Donaldson’s Farm in order to provide produce to those in need. She enjoyed crocheting and making prayer shawls. She was an avid reader, a fabulous cook and loved the beach, especially Cape May, NJ. Above all she loved her family and cherished every moment spent together. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her loving children; Steven Ternosky and his wife Lorraine, Deborah Maull and her husband Thomas, Mark Ternosky and his wife Karen, Charles Ternosky and his wife Lora and Patricia Mullen and her husband William. She also leaves behind her 7 cherished grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
A Memorial service celebrating Mary’s life will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Trinity United Methodist Church, 213 Main Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary’s name to The Lord’s Pantry at Trinity United Methodist Church.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Maguire Memorial Home.
