Mary T Theroux

Surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her great legacy by living life to the fullest; Mary T. Theroux, 90, of Port Murray, NJ and previously of Wharton, NJ left this earth Friday, May 27th 2022. She was born on July 28, 1931 to the late Thomas and Margaret Conroy in Mountaintop, Pennsylvania. After graduating from Sugar Notch High School, she attended Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Wilkes Barre, PA. Mary worked at Morristown Memorial Hospital from 1953-65 then Dover General Hospital for 29 years. She is predeceased by her husband Bill of 61 years and her son Kevin, who passed at birth, survived by daughter Mary Colette & husband Peter Minoui of Port Murray, NJ; son William Theroux & wife Carol of Ocean City, NJ; grandchildren and great grandchildren Danielle & husband Steven Voyce, children Karsen, Greyson and Freya; Alexis & her husband Edgar Morales, children Isabella, Cristian and Magdalena; Erica Minoui, Steven & wife Sarah Theroux, children Emily and Jackson; Katie & husband Andrew Campbell, daughter Quinn; sister Patricia Franco. To know her was to love her. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the pride of her life. Her smile and laughter was contagious. When you were with her you were home. The simplest pleasures brought Gram such joy. A mass of Catholic burial is scheduled for Tuesday May 31st 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Theodore Roman Catholic Church in Port Murray, NJ. Burial at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover, NJ will immediately follow. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made in Mary's name to the Discalced Carmelite Nuns 189 Madison Ave. Morristown, NJ 07960.
