Mary Onuskonych

Mary E. Onuskonych, 85, of Long Valley, NJ passed away peacefully on March 29, 2019 with her loving family by her side.
Mary was born on December 24, 1933 in Shamokin, PA to the late Stanislaus and Victoria Sidor.
She was a graduate of St. Casimir High School class of 1951. She married the love of her life Harry Onuskonych Sr.,in 1954. Prior to moving to Long Valley, NJ in 1965, she resided in Newark and Lake Hopatcong, NJ. Mary was of the Catholic faith and a parishioner of Our Lady of the Mountain Catholic Church. She enjoyed the church and volunteering. Mary was employed as a Data Entry Operator for M&M Mars from 1976 until her retirement in 1992. She was a woman with a huge heart. Mary enjoyed cooking, sewing and loved to travel. She especially enjoyed her many trips to Atlantic City. Most of all, she loved her family and spending time with them. She will be sadly missed.
Mary is survived by her devoted husband of 65 years, Harry Onuskonych Sr., her loving son, Harry Onuskonych. A sister Ann Smela, and 3 cherished grandchildren, Jessica, Ryan and Michala. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 2 children, her daughter, Jill Kuchelman and her son Michael H. Onuskonych
Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Maguire- Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. Funeral services will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow service at Our Lady of the Mountain Parish Cemetery, Long Valley,
