Mary L Frediani

Mary L. Frediani, 90, of Hackettstown, NJ passed away peacefully on July 28, 2022 at Hackettstown Hospital. Mary was born on June 12, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Battista and Eli- Ernesta Piantino. She was a graduate of Bay Ridge High School class of 1949. She worked as a credit collector for General Motors and also as a secretary at St. Mary's School in Hackettstown, NJ. Mary loved to travel and especially loved to do cruises. In her later years she would enjoy compiling all of the photos and memories from her excursions, and make scrapbooks. She enjoyed word searches and crewel embroidering. Mary also loved to sit outside with a Danielle Steele book and listen to the birds and wind chimes on a breezy day. Mary is survived by her cherished children; Steven Frediani and his wife Miriam, and Diane Frediani, grandchildren; Jeffrey and his wife Laura, and Ashley Frediani, and her beloved great grandchild, Jack Henry Frediani. She also leaves behind her sibling; Theresa Rizzo and her husband Frank, and Walter Piantino and his wife Sema, and nieces and nephews; Janet, Colleen, Frank, Richard, and Zurkon. In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her loving husband, Albert, who passed in 2004. Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Maguire- Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. A mass of Catholic burial will take place on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 11:00AM at Our Lady of the Mountain Church, Long Valley, NJ. Burial will immediately follow at Hackettstown Union Cemetery.
