Marianne Ryan, 80, of Hackettstown, NJ formerly of Ledgewood, NJ passed away peacefully on May 4, 2018 at Morristown Hospital with her loving family by her side.
Marianne was born on February 25, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Paul and Gaetana Sinacore. She was employed by Beneficial Finance and worked in their Human Resources Department prior to her retirement in 1998. She was an avid New York Mets fanatic and an active member of the Democratic Club in the 70's, working on the election of Jimmy Carter. She was of the Catholic faith and a parishioner of St. Therese Catholic Church in Succasunna, NJ. Marianne will always be remembered for her joy of life and spending time with those she loved. She was a very giving person, always putting others needs before her own. She enjoyed traveling and was always on her way somewhere. She especially loved to travel to Florida, Tennessee and the Carolina's but traveling to see her children, grandchildren and extended family were her most joyous trips. Her family meant the world to her, as she did to them. She will be sadly missed by all.
She is survived by her heart-broken children: daughter, Debra Feeks (Vincent), Linda Pompey (James), son, Anthony LiPetri (Ellen), step-son, Dennis Ryan (Debbie) and step-daughter, Lisa Welsh (Thomas), cherished grandchildren: Caitlin, Anthony, Jessica, Isaiah, Naomi, D.J., Patrick, Meghan and Tarah. Also, her treasured great-grandchildren: Chloe, Annalynn and Addilyn. Brothers: Paul (Juana) and Peter (Bonnie) and sister Carmela. And, countless nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Lewis Ryan, who passed in 1988, her brother Joseph Sinacore, sisters Raffaela Myskowski and Marie Rosa, and son-in-law, Joseph Caccavale.
A Memorial Mass celebrating Marianne's life will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018, 9:00 am at St. Therese's Catholic Church in Succasunna, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marianne's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Scala Memorial Home 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840.
