Marianna F Chalemin

Marianna Frances Chalemin, 88, of Long Valley, NJ passed away peacefully on July 30, 2024 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Dover, NJ

Marianna was born on October 5, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Michael and Johanna Quinz.

After High School, Marianna continued her education at the Wilford Academy in Hackensack and Montclair State University. She married the love of her life Georges S. Chalemin I in 1960. Together they celebrated 62 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2022. She was employed as a manager in a school cafeteria prior to her retirement in 2013. Marianna was a cancer survivor. She enjoyed baking, cooking, sewing and knitting. She faithfully read the newspaper every morning. She will be greatly missed.

Marianna is survived by her loving children, son, Georges S. Chalemin II and his wife Luz and daughter Colette Chalemin. She also leaves behind her 3 grandchildren, Georges Chalemin III, Sebastian Chalemin and Chase Chalemin.

All services will be held privately.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Maguire Memorial Home.
