Maria D Stone

Maria D. Stone, 65, of Hackettstown, NJ entered Heaven's gates on December 23, 2018.  She was born in Princeton, NJ on January 25, 1953, a cherished daughter of Stanley and Julia Hydash.
After high school she went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Centenary College.  She worked as an accountant prior to her retirement in 2015.  Maria was an avid reader and loved animals.  She loved her family and most of all spending time with her grandchildren who she adored.
Maria always cared for others, made sure her family came first, and was always willing to rescue an animal in need.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Alexis Kniffin, Jessica Stone and Jennifer Stone.  She also leaves behind her treasured grandchildren, Madison, Ailey and Arius, who were clearly her heart and joy.  She will be deeply missed by all.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 at the Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.  Family and friends may pay their respects from 2:30 - 3:30 PM.  The memorial service will immediately follow the visitation at 3:30 PM.
