Lucy Jane Triano

Lucy Jane Triano, 83, of Hackettstown, NJ passed away peacefully at home on January 26, 2017.
Lucy was born on February 17, 1933 in North Bergen NJ, to the late Domenic and Elizabeth Triano.
Lucy graduated from Dickerson High School class of 1950 in Jersey City.
Lucy worked for Western Electric Company for over 30 years prior to her retirement in 1962. Lucy was very proud of the work she did for the company. Lucy was on the Western Electric bowling team where she and her team bowled in many tournaments. She was a member of the team which was crowned "The Works Champion" in the year end tournament. Lucy loved the outdoors and was a true animal lover. Her love of animals was evident when she became the neighborhood dog walker. Lucy loved horses and owned a champion horse which she rode, named Thunder.
She is survived by her loving niece Katherine and many caring friends. Friends and family may pay their respects on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 10-11 AM at the Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. Funeral service will be held following visitation at 11 AM in the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at Johnsonburg Cemetery in Johnsonburg, NJ. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Scala Memorial Home.
