Loretta Mendez

Loretta Mendez, 65, of Hackettstown, NJ (formerly of the Villages, Florida) passed away peacefully on April 18, 2020 at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut.
Loretta was born on January 16, 1955 in Queens, NY a daughter of Leon Kaye and Alicia Belesi.
She was a graduate of Newtown High School. She married the love of her life Roy Mendez. Loretta loved her family and spending time with them. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for family and friends. Loretta loved traveling to Aruba and going to the beach as much as possible. Her infectious laugh and bigger than life personality will be sadly missed.
In addition to her devoted husband Roy, she is survived by her loving children; daughter Alison O'Connor and her husband Ryan and son, Bryan Mendez. She is preceded in death by her brother Daniel Clark.
Due to public gathering restrictions, services will be announced at a later date.
