Lisa Marie Mistkowski

Lisa Marie Mistkowski, 54, of Long Valley, NJ passed away peacefully on November 12, 2016 at Morristown Hospital with her family and friends by her side.
She was born on November 26, 1961, in Westwood, NJ to the late Fred and Violet Rakowski.
Lisa previously lived in Marblehead, Mass before returning to NJ. She earned her Bachelor's degree from St. Peters College and her Master's degree from Montclair State University. She met and married the love of her life and best friend Rich. Together they owned and operated the Marblehead Sport Shop and Marblehead Marketing. Lisa was creative, artistic, loved to take pictures and was very much a CAN DO person. When a project needed to get done, she was the person who could make it happen. When you look at a starfish, please think about Lisa. She loved the ocean, sea shells and starfish.
Above everything else, Lisa was an incredible Mother to her two children Lauren and Mattie. She took this job seriously and there is no place she'd rather be than snuggling with her kids. No place! She dedicated her life to her kids and her husband. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. But she will not be forgotten. Her legacy is her kids. And she will live on with them forever.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 17 years, Rich Mistkowski, her loving children, Lauren and Mattie Mistkowski, and her caring sister, Freda Rakowski.
There will be a Shiva to celebrate her life on November 19th from 1-4 pm at the Mistkowski residence. All are welcome, including children. Please dress casual and warm. A private Memorial service will be held on November 26, 2016 at 1 pm at the Long Valley Presbyterian Church, 39 Bartley Road, Long Valley, NJ 07853 with Rev. Aaron Nagel officiating.
