Lina Gioino

Lina Lee Gioino, 90, of Hackettstown, NJ passed away peacefully on July 16, 2025.

Lina was born on March 17, 1935, in Newark, NJ to the late Charles and Mary Funicelli.

Previously of Southampton, NJ, and Bloomfield, NJ, Lina moved to Hackettstown in 2023. Prior to her retirement in July of 2003, she was employed as an insurance agent at William H. Connolly & Co. for 21 years. Lina enjoyed watching soap operas and the Hallmark Channel. She was an avid Disney fan and loved animals, particularly dogs. Above all she loved her family and cherished every moment spent with them.

Lina is survived by her loving sons: Charles Gioino and his wife Sara, Kevin Gioino and his wife Maria, and 6 treasured grandchildren: Charly, Frankie, Bailey, Andie, Nicholas and Anthony. Lina was preceded in death by her eldest son Andrew Gioino.

Honoring her wishes, all services will be held privately.
