Lillian Elizabeth Capra

Lillian Elizabeth Capra, 86, of Flanders, NJ passed away peacefully on January 22, 2020 at home with her loving family by her side.
Lillian was born on December 24, 1933 in Manhattan, NY to the late Hans and Lillian Webber. Lillian was a graduate of New Town High School in Queen, NY. She married the love of her life Frank Capra in 1960. They moved to Flanders in 1970. Lillian was a homemaker and truly enjoyed being able to stay home and raise her children and manage the home. She was an excellent cook and filled the home with the aroma of her masterful meals she would prepare. She was of the Catholic faith and a past parishioner of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Flanders, NJ. Above all Lillian loved her family; she loved being a mother and grandmother and spending time with them. She will be sadly missed.
She is survived by her devoted husband Frank Capra, her loving children; Erica Renauer and her husband Kai, Marc Capra, Matthew Capra and his wife Lina, Lisa Mansfield and her husband Mark, Laura Link and her husband Erik and 8 cherished grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by 2 sons; Eric Capra and Guy Capra. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, January 31, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Maguire-Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840 A Memorial service celebrating Lillian's life will be held immediately following the visitation at 12:00 PM in the funeral home.
