Lester Kerstetter

Lester Kerstetter, 79, of Belvidere, NJ passed away peacefully on January 1, 2024 at St. Luke’s Warren Hospital in Phillipsburg, NJ

Lester was born on November 26, 1944.

He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Arts. He was employed as a Manager for Queens Lithograph prior to his retirement. Lester was also employed at the PA Delaware Joint Bridge Commission retiring as Corporal. Lester was a member of Buttzville United Methodist Church. He was a member of the choir and enjoyed his church community. Lester was a fan of opera and was trained to sing. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening and raising his dogs.

He is survived by his step-father Stephen Bush, his nephews, Stephen Cease and his wife Susan and Thomas Cease and his wife Melissa. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Amy R. Cease.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, January 5, 2024 from 10-11 AM at the Buttzville United Methodist Church, 4 Green Pond Road, Belvidere, NJ 07823. Funeral service will start at 11:00 in the church. Burial will follow at Buttzville Cemetery.
