Lenore A Byrnes

Lenore A. "Lee" Byrnes, 97, of Hackettstown, NJ passed away on December 11, 2021 at Hackettstown Medical Center.
Lee was born on December 21, 1923 in Manhattan, NY to the late Beniamino and Angelina Simonetti.
She was a graduate of Newtown High School in Elmhurst, NY. She married the love of her life, Thomas Gerard Byrnes. Together in Greenlawn, LI, Lee and Tom raised their only daughter, Janet Patricia. Lee and her daughter Janet later relocated to The Villages, Florida, where Lee resided until moving to Hackettstown 9 months ago to be closer to family. Lee dedicated her life to her family. She enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas and Atlantic City. She was of the Catholic faith. She is survived by an older sister, Mary Parenty of Hackettstown, a younger sister, Grace Tursi of Miramar, Fl., And many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband Thomas Gerard Byrnes and her parents, she is predeceased by her daughter Janet Byrnes, a brother Stephen Simonetti.
A mass of Christian burial celebrating Lenore's life will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 12:30 PM at Our Lady of the Mountain Catholic Church, 2 East Springtown Rd., Long Valley, NJ 07853.
