Lee Ann Ascolese

Lee Ann Ascolese, 47, of Hackettstown, NJ passed away peacefully on December 30, 2022 at home with her loving family by her side.

Lee was born on November 11, 1975 in Denville, NJ to Robert and Rosemary Tonczos Sr.

She was a graduate of Mount Olive High School, Class of 1994. Lee went on to further her education at the Chubb Institute and Centenary College. Lee married the love of her life Vincent in 2009. She was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Elizabeth’s Roman Catholic Church in Flanders, NJ where she also taught Pre-Cana for many years. She was a member of the Porsche Club of America and loved driving the Porsche on the racetrack. Lee enjoyed traveling and scuba diving. She was lovingly known as the sous chef and had a passion for cooking. Lee volunteered at Hackettstown Hospital and the Sharing Village in Peapack Gladstone. She will be remembered as a kind woman who selflessly helped others. She will be greatly missed.

Lee is survived by her devoted husband, Vincent Ascolese, her loving parents Robert and Rosemary Tonczos Sr., caring brother, Robert L Tonczos Jr. and his wife Cindy and her niece Colleen Tonczos.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday, January 2, 2022 from 4-8PM at the Maguire-Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 61 Main Street, Flanders, NJ 07836. Burial will be at Pequest Union Cemetery, 30 Cemetery Road, Great Meadows, NJ 07838.
