Lawrence (Larry) Malizzi, 77 died on September 25, 2017 at St. Clare's Hospital in Dover, NJ after a long battle with lung disease. He was born on August 21, 1940 in Morristown, NJ and spent the last 45 years in Succasunna, NJ. Larry worked in construction with his family and at Home Depot. He retired from the US Army Reserves as a Master Sargent in 2000 with 30 years of service. He is survived by his wife, of 53 years, Cecilia; his four sons, Lawrence, Michael, Peter and Paul; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, September 29, 2017 from 1-4 P.M at the Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840 Funeral service will immediately follow visitation at 4:00 PM in the funeral home. Military Honors will be held following service.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Larry's name to the Coast Guard Foundation 394 Taugwonk Road, Stonington, CT 06378
