Kenneth Swift

Kenneth M. Swift, 62, of Long Valley, New Jersey passed away peacefully on May 12, 2022 at the Hamilton Continuing Care Center in Hamilton, NJ Kenneth was born on September 15, 1959 in Morristown, NJ to Theodore G. Swift and Marion Joan (Bawkin) Swift. He was a graduate of Mount Olive High School Class of 1977. Kenneth was self-employed as an auto mechanic. When not fixing cars he could be found wrenching other items in need of repair. Kenneth enjoyed riding his ATV with friends. Those who knew him well created a special bond with him. He will be greatly missed.
Kenneth is survived by his loving brother, David Swift and his fiancé Ellen Poli, sister Susan Swift and her husband Charles Finke, and his sister-in-law Karen Swift. He also leaves behind 3 nieces Maria Rickert, Laura Swift and Juliann Swift, 2 grand-nephews Liam and Jack Rickert. He is predeceased by his father Theodore G. Swift and his mother, Marion J. (Bawkin) Swift.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 11 AM - 1:00 PM at the Maguire-Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. Memorial service will immediately follow the visitation at 1:00 PM in the funeral home.
