Kathleen Donnelly, 64, of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away on June 10, 2022. Kathleen was born on February 22, 1958 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Edward Quigley and Rosemarie (nee; Fritz) Quigley. Kathleen earned her Bachelor's degree from Trenton State College. She served as a Pre-K Teacher for most of her life while often working additional jobs to support her family. In her spare time she enjoyed baking, reading, and playing with her two dogs. She always stayed strong to her Catholic faith, admired sunsets, and loved decorating for the holidays. Her ornaments were a collection of memories throughout the years and her most prized possessions. Her most famous Snicker Doodles and Chocolate Chip Cookies were enjoyed by many, especially during the holiday season. She loved including them in care packages she sent to her son while in the service. Above all, she loved her family. She closely followed their adventures all over the world and treasured every moment spent with them. She had a special talent for finding joy and happiness even in the toughest of circumstances, always kept a sense of humor, and her lessons and memories will be cherished forever. She is survived by her loving mother, Rosemarie Quigley, her treasured children, Brian Donnelly, Erin Donnelly and Lauren Donnelly. She also leaves behind her caring siblings, brother, Gary Quigley and his wife Patricia, sisters, Mary Ann Stilson and Sharon Quigley and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday, June 20, 2022 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Maguire-Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. Memorial service celebrating Kathleen's life will immediately follow the visitation in the funeral home. Inurnment will take place at Our Lady of the Mountain Catholic Cemetery in Long Valley, NJ Kathleen's wish was that no one would wear black at her funeral and that all would dress colorfully to celebrate her life.
