Kathleen L. Crane

Kathleen L. Crane, 79, of Hackettstown, NJ passed away peacefully at Hackettstown Medical Center on May 19, 2020 with her loving family by her side.
Kathleen was born on November 27, 1940 in Patterson, NJ to the late Thomas and Anna Healy.
Kathleen was raised in Kearny, NJ where she was a graduate of Kearny High School Class of 1958. She married the love of her life James E. Crane in 1964. Moving to Hackettstown in 1971, they raised their 4 children. Kathleen enjoyed gardening, cooking and sewing. She also enjoyed bird watching and butterflies. She loved to travel and going to the beach especially Oak Island, NC. When she was younger living in Kearny she enjoyed drag racing and would race her husband's 49 Ford down the streets of Kearny. She was of the Catholic faith and a parishioner of Our Lady of the Mountain Roman Catholic Church in Long Valley, NJ. Above all she was a devoted wife and adored her children and grandchildren.
Kathleen is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years James E. Crane; her loving children; James R. Crane and his wife Theresa, Susan Wells and her husband Thomas, Laura Reed and her husband Kevin, Kathleen Perry and her husband John. Her cherished grandchildren; Colgan, Carson, Olivia, Julia, Travis, Kassie, Amber and Payton and her caring sister Nancy Borge. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Joseph Healy.
