Karl H Johnson

Karl H. Johnson, 79, of Hopatcong, NJ passed away peacefully on February 23, 2022 at Morristown Medical Center. Karl was born on September 29, 1942 in Bloomfield, NJ to the late Frank & Helen Johnson. Karl was a graduate of Bloomfield High School. He went on to further his education to become a Diesel Mechanic. Karl was employed as a mechanic for TNJ repairing buses prior to his retirement. He married the love of his life Florence Sibilia and together they celebrated 52 years of marriage prior to her passing on March 9, 2021. Karl was a member of the transportation union; he enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved to travel. He will be greatly missed.
Karl is survived by his step-son, John Kunzman and his companion Geraldine Popkivich, his graddaughter Gina Kunzman and his great-grandchildren Jason & Janyia Kunzman.
In abiding with Karl's wishes all services will be held privately.
