Julia Anna Santoro

Julia Anna Montalchi/Santoro, 90, formally of Hackettstown, NJ passed away peacefully on June 28, 2019 at Villa Marie Claire Hospice Center in Saddle River, NJ
Julia was born on February 10, 1929 in Union City, NJ to the late Guilio and Antoinette Montalchi. She was a graduate of Union City High School. Julia was employed as a book keeper and also worked at the Hackettstown Nutrition Center for many years. She was a parishioner of Trinity United Methodist Church in Hackettstown where she made many friends and worked in the Trinity thrift shop. Julia was an excellent cook and loved to bake. She often baked cheese cakes for the church. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and word search puzzles. She was a huge fan of WWE Wrestling. She would make sure she was home every week in time to watch it. Above all Julia loved her family. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Linda Santoro, her adored granddaughter, Janette Foca, and her treasured great-grandchildren, Sayj and Kaydn and 1 great-great-grandson Braxton. She also leaves behind her nephew whom she raised as her son, Cesare Gaspari. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 2 grandsons, John Foca III and Anthony Foca, her twin brother, Nicholas Montalchi and her older brother Joseph Montalchi and nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 from 4-7:00 PM at the Maguire-Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840 Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity United Methodist Church 213 Main Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840
