Joyce Vitale

Joyce Vitale, 84, of Hackettstown, NJ passed away peacefully on January 24, 2022 at Hackettstown Medical Center in Hackettstown, NJ
Joyce was born on March 10, 1937 in East Orange, NJ to the late Thomas and Lily Heaton.
She was a graduate of Bloomfield High School. She went on to further her education and received her cosmetology license. She was employed as a hair dresser for many years prior to her retirement in 1999. Joyce married the love of her life Robert Vitale Jr. Together they celebrated 57 years of marriage before his passing in 2015. Joyce loved the Jersey shore, living there for many years prior to moving to Hackettstown. She was an animal lover and a very charitable person. Always giving to those in need, above all she loved her family and spending time with them. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her loving sons; Thomas Vitale and his wife Yamir and Robert Vitale. She also leaves behind her cherished granddaughters; Shannon and Gia.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, January 28, 2022 from 6-8 PM at the Maguire-Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840 Funeral Service will be held immediately following the visitation at 8 PM in the funeral home.
