Joseph Robello, 95, of Oxford, NJ passed away peacefully on August 21, 2018 at Hackettstown Medical Center.
Joseph was born on May 15, 1923 in Kauai, Hawaii to the late Marion and Augusta Robello.
He graduated from Farrington high school in Kalihi, Honalulu. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Military. Proudly serving in both the Army and the Navy during WWII. Joseph was of the catholic faith. He was a member of both the VFW and the Elks in Honalulu. He enjoyed playing cards and sports gambling, especially football. He was an avid golfer. Joseph attributed his longevity to beer. He drank a miller lite every day. He enjoyed "talking story" as they say in Hawaii. Above all he loved his children and treasured every moment spent with them.
He is survived by his loving children, a daughter, Lisa Gallagher and a son Brack Jaskey. And 2 caring sisters, Rene and Mary.
Services will be held at a later date in Hawaii.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Scala Memorial Home 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840.
