Jimmie Lee Hutchins Jr.

Jimmie Lee Hutchins Jr., 61, of Port Murray, NJ passed away on July 21, 2020 at RWJ Somerset Hospital. Jimmie was born on July 14, 1959 in Newton, NJ to the late Jimmie Lee Hutchins Sr. and Edna Virginia Hutchins Jimmie was self employed as a carpenter. He owned and operated Jim Hutchins Carpentry and sub-contracted through C. Mannion Construction LLC. Jimmie enjoyed woodworking and learned his trade at Picatinny Arsenal in 1977. He was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed canoeing and camping. Most of all he loved his family and spending time with them, he was a very dedicated father and grandfather.
Jimmie is survived by his loving daughter, Heather Lynn Hutchins. 3 cherished grandchildren; William, Rory and Reilly and 2 caring brothers and sister in law, John and Brenda Hutchins and William Hutchins. In abiding with Jimmie's wishes services will be held privately at a later date.
