Jean began her profession career at Bell Telephone where she made valuable contributions and established lasting friendships. However, her life took and exciting turn when she met and married the love of her life, Jules “Dewey” Marron, in 1948. Together they embarked on a journey filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams.
Jean’s unwavering support and dedication were evident in her role as Dewey’s guiding light throughout his college years at Rutgers University. She coached and mentored him, providing the unwavering encouragement and motivation he needed to succeed. Their partnership was a testament to the power of love and teamwork. Jean went on to attain her bookkeeping degree.
As a devoted mother, Jean poured her heart and soul in raising her three children. Her love knew no boundaries and she cherished every moment spent with her daughter Kathleen, of Tomah, Wisconsin, and her sons, David and Patrice of Blairstown, New Jersey and Michael and Jane of Stanhope, New Jersey. Jean’s nurturing nature and unwavering presence provided a solid foundation for her children’s lives.
Jean’s love for her family extended beyond her immediate household. She was a caring grandmother to her grandchildren, great grand and great-great grandchildren showering them with affection and support. Her legacy of love and devotion will continue to guide them throughout their lives.
Jean Marron will forever be remembered for her kindness, grace, and unwavering commitment to her family. Her selflessness and unconditional love touched the hearts of all who knew her.
Jean loved sailing and this led to their partnership in Atlantic Sailing Yachts of Annapolis MD where they loved the people they met and introduced them to the peace and freedom of sailing. Jean and Dewey sailed the islands and the East Coast. They camped throughout the US and Canada, venturing to several hundred miles North of the Arctic Circle in the Northwest Territories of Canada.
At this time all services will be held privately. Donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice in Jean’s name.
As we say goodbye to Jean, let us hold dear the precious memories we shared and the legacy she leaves behind. May her soul find eternal peace, and may her spirit continue to inspire and guide us all.
