Jason Scott Kromjong

Jason Scottt Kromjong, 41, of Great Meadows, NJ (formerly of Nolensville, TN) passed away on June 28, 2024 in Mansfield, NJ

Jason was born on November 4, 1982 in Denville, NJ to Angel Picone and Jon Kromjong Sr.

He was a graduate of Jefferson High School class of 2001, where he was on the wrestling and football teams. He went on to further his education at Rasmussem University earning his Bachelor’s degree in accounting. Jason was self employed as a tax accountant. In 2010 he married Amanda Kessler. They lived in several states as his business grew. Jason was known as “Jay the tax guy” Jason loved sports and was a huge Miami Dolphins fan as well as a NY Yankees fan. Some of his fondest memories were taking his son to Miami games. He will be sadly missed.

Jason is survived by his wife of 14 years, Amanda Kromjong, his cherished children; Ashley Morgan and Maxwell Kromjong. His parents, Angel Picone and Jon Kromjong Sr. and Audrey Aquino, his paternal grandmother, Patricia Mills, his siblings Jon Kromjong Jr, William Duschek and Joseph Picone and his fiancé Kluane Ershow. He also leaves behind his nieces and nephews, Carrington and Jack Kromjong, William and Peyton Duschek,

Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 from 4-7PM at Maguire Memorial Home and Cremation Services, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. Funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 7PM in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made payable to Amanda Kromjong to set up a college fund for Maxwell Kromjong. Donations may be mailed to the funeral home until the PO Box is set up, information will be available shortly.
