Janeen Ann Pietraszkiewicz, 40, of Nazareth, PA passed away peacefully on June 3, 2026 at home with her loving family by her side.
Janeen was born on September 22, 1985 in Morristown, NJ to John Kostialik and Jill Shade.
Janeen graduated Warren Hills High School class of 2004; she furthered her education at Gibbs College. She was an entrepreneur of multiple businesses. Such as Scentsy, Lu La Roe and high end costume jewelry. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Wind Gap, PA Post 724. She was a passionate photographer whose unique images touched the lives of many families and continue to be cherished today. Crocheting was also a hobby that she took pleasure in doing and also a form of relaxation for her. Her love for animals was well known throughout the community. She had a deep respect and affection for all creatures, and her compassion touched everyone who knew her. She was an avid Eagles fan and was very supportive of the Green Knights which is her son Jakobs' football team. Janeen touched many hearts over the years and will be greatly missed.
Janeen is survived by her devoted husband of 21 years, Matthew Pietraszkiewicz, her loving children, daughter, Kalei Rose Pietraszkiewicz, son, Jakob Matthew Pietraszkiewicz and long-time girlfriend Emma Cimino, her caring father John Kostialik and his wife Tedra, mother Jill Shade and her husband William, siblings; Dustin, Cassidy, Thadeus, Kendall Kostialik, Alex Shade and his wife Kalene and Steven Shade and his wife Michelle. Caring sister-in-laws Carol Pietraszkiewicz, Vanessa Cassidy and her husband Matthew, brother-in-law Brian Pietraszkiewicz and his wife Brooke. She also leaves behind her grandmother Linda Kostialik, Mother-in-law Sandra Anderson and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends can pay their respects on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 from 1-3 PM and 6-8 PM at Maguire Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. Memorial Service celebrating Janeen's life will be held June 10, 2026 at 11 AM in the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow at Pequest Union Cemetery, 36 Cemetery Road, Great Meadows, NJ 07838.
While floral tributes are appreciated, Janeen's wish was to establish a scholarship for the Green Knights. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Janeen's memory to Matthew Pietraszkiewicz to support "The Mama P Spirit Scholarship" Funds benefiting the Green Knights and helping to continue her legacy of encouragement, compassion, and community support.
