James P 'Doc Terror' Harris

James P. Harris "Doc Terror", 36, of Hackettstown, NJ passed away peacefully at Morristown Medical Center on April 13, 2017 with his loving family by his side.
James was born on October 24, 1980 in Edison, NJ to Gary Harris and Pamela O'Brien.
James was a graduate of West Morris High School class of 1999. He was employed as a Vice President for Erisk Services for 12 years. He met and married the love of his life Nicole in 2010. James who is best known as Doc Terror had his own horror blog and pod casts. He loved horror movies so it was fitting that his favorite holiday was Halloween. He was a talented musician and played the electric guitar. He enjoyed football and was an avid fan of the NY Giants. Above all he loved his family and friends. James was a kind man with a positive attitude. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 7 years, Nicole, his cherished daughters, Isabella, Ava and Nora. His loving parents, Gary Harris and his wife Kathy and Pamela O'Brien. 2 sisters, Kelly Dvorin and her husband Brian Zuzello and Katie Hoopmann and her husband Bryan. 3 Step-brothers, David O'Brien and Mario and David Portilla. 2 Brother in-laws, Butch and Jack Steeples. His grandmother, Martha Harris, a niece Zoey and many aunts, uncles and cousins. James is preceded in death by his Stepfather Michael O'Brien and grandparents, Kenneth Harris and Bill & Bernie Kistler. James also leaves behind his faithful companions, his dogs, Lady and Darby
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday April 29, 2017. Friends and family may pay their respects from 11 AM-2:30 PM at the Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. Memorial Service will immediately follow visitation at 2:30 PM in the funeral home.
