James Kevin Culligan

James K. "Jim" Culligan, 69, of Hackettstown, NJ passed away peacefully on July 4, 2020 at home with his loving family by his side.
Jim was born on April 10, 1951 in Manhattan, NY to the late James and Helen Culligan.
Jim earned his Bachelor's degree in Sociology. He was employed as a Quality Control Specialist for Givaudan Corp. prior to his retirement in 2016. He married the love of his life Christine in 1982. Together they celebrated 38 years of marriage. Jim enjoyed golfing, going to the casino and horse track with his wife. He also enjoyed traveling and going on cruises. He was an avid Yankees fan. Jim truly enjoyed mowing his lawn. Above all he loved his family and treasured every moment spent with them. He will be sadly missed.
Jim is survived by his devoted wife Christine Culligan, his loving daughter, Jamie Jays and her husband Christopher and his adored grandchildren, Alexander and Andrew Jays. He also leaves behind his cousin Kathy Clinton and her husband Vinny.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 from 4-8 PM at the Maguire-Scala Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at 10:30 A.M in the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow service at Pequest Union Cemetery in Great Meadows, NJ
