Irene J Cullinane

Irene J. Cullinane, 80, of Stanhope, NJ, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2026 at home with her loving family by her side.

Irene was born on February 17, 1946 in Newark, NJ to the late Adam and Josephine Brzuska.

She was a graduate of Irvington High School Class of 1964. She married the love of her life Daniel Cullinane in 1966. Previously residing in East Orange, NJ they moved their family to Stanhope in 1977. A devout catholic, Irene was a parishioner at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church in Andover, NJ. She enjoyed reading, shopping and jig saw puzzles. She was an amazing cook and was known for her polish cooking and homemade golumpki and borscht. Above all she loved her family and treasured every moment spent with them. She will be greatly missed.

Survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, Danny Cullinane, her loving children; Laura Dellamo and her husband Ernie, Adam Cullinane and his wife Lisa, 5 grandchildren; Danielle Goodyear and her husband Tyler, James Dellamo, Kayleigh Cullinane, Ashlyn Horein, Cassidy Horein she also leaves behind her sister Lorraine Bierstine and her sister-in-law Patricia Cullinane. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother-in-law Shaun Cullinane.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday, August 15, 2026 from 10 am - 12:30 pm at Maguire Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, 48 Tranquility Road, Andover, NJ 07821. The family would like to invite all to join them immediately following the mass for a repast meal at Mosaico Tavern, 2 Tamarack Rd., Byram, NJ 07821.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Maguire Memorial Home, 124 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840.
